A picture may be worth a thousand words, but to make them the right words takes some work.
When I photograph, I strive to bring all the elements together to express a mood, a time and a place. In order to accomplish that I use any tool that will help me get the job done. It may be a digital Nikon, a high resolution digital back, film, something decidedly low tech like a "Diana" camera or a Polaroid SX-70 or a Photoshop composite.
